Alyssa is a New York-based corporate, business and IP attorney serving clients in the media, entertainment, technology, sports, hospitality and consumer industries. Representing companies of all sizes, talent, founders, creatives, startups, and established brands, her practice focuses on business formation, corporate governance, commercial transactions, contract drafting and negotiations, intellectual property licensing, trademark strategy and protection, brand partnerships, content deals, venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, and advising companies through their entire business lifecycle.
Alyssa began her legal career at Sidley Austin LLP, where she counseled Fortune 500 companies on high-stakes M&A and private equity transactions. She then joined Bowery Legal LLP, a boutique venture-focused firm where she served as outside general counsel to creative entrepreneurs and emerging brands, being a trusted advisor for both everyday business needs and pivotal growth moments. She has also held in-house roles at HBO, Warner Bros., Discovery, and Paramount Global.
Known for her practical, business-minded approach, Alyssa helps creative professionals and innovative companies turn ideas into sustainable businesses, whether that means, structuring and optimizing new businesses for long-term investment opportunities and growth, negotiating a production deal, protecting a brand, or structuring an exit. She is licensed to practice in New York and holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from New York Law School, along with certifications in Intellectual Property and Fashion Law. She is also an adjunct professor at New York Law School.
